What it takes

  • Tell us you want to participate by creating your business profile (you just did, or you're about to)
  • Complete the workplace accessibility self-assessment. It is a mirror, not a test. There are no failing grades

What you receive

  • Window and door participation sticker
  • Digital Bronze Advocate badge for your website and social media
  • Your business name listed on the InvestAbility recognition directory (with your consent)

Silver

Ally

For businesses actively building skills and removing barriers.

What it takes

  • Express interest in hosting a discovery chat in the coming year (a one-hour, no-commitment conversation with a local candidate at your business)
  • Implement three Ally-level accommodations or policy improvements from the list below

What you receive

  • Enhanced window decal and Silver participation plaque
  • Social media spotlights from your chamber and partner agencies
  • Certificate presented at a quarterly chamber meeting
  • Featured profile in your chamber newsletter

Gold

Partner

For businesses offering ongoing, meaningful work experiences.

What it takes

  • Host at least one discovery chat this year
  • Hold an internal disability awareness training (the Foundations learning path plus a team huddle counts. Ask us for materials)
  • Provide internships, volunteer training roles, or part-time job opportunities
  • Complete a facility accessibility audit through the Hamilton County Tourism office (we schedule it with you, free)
  • Implement three Partner-level accommodations or policy improvements from the list below

What you receive

  • Enhanced window decal and Gold plaque
  • A customized social media highlight video
  • Press release mention through chamber channels
  • Priority placement on your chamber's inclusion webpage

Platinum

Champion

The top recognition, for sustained engagement and leadership.

What it takes

  • Demonstrated long-term commitment to engaging individuals with disabilities
  • Host multiple skill-building or training programs per year
  • Act as a mentor to other businesses entering the program, sharing what you have learned
  • Document outcomes: hires, retained employees, program success stories

  • Enhanced window decal
  • Engraved annual trophy presented at the chamber banquet
  • Feature story in chamber publications
  • Special designation on all chamber marketing for one year
